Here's the Scoop: First time at this Post Office and I'm impressed. Upon entering its colorful and bright ready for holiday shipping. So, over the years, there have been many post masters and the experience here has changed depending on who is managing the place. There is also a big variable in the counter people. There is one woman who consistently messes up my mailings and has been there forever. I can't figure out why she still has a job. Some of the others, like have moved to a different department, which is great for them, but a loss for the walk in customers. Andrea is wonderful, fast and polite. They replaced the post office box nightmare person, so that experience is much more pleasant. It would take me 3 and 4 tries for this woman the former post office box woman to accept the mail, so it would not get out on time. No where near enough spots for the traffic. I agree with everyone with this complaint. One of the larger regional post offices - located on Smithtown post office hours 111, this location offers just about every service you need. Passports, mailing and the automated machines, plus a couple of drive-up mail boxes so you do not even have to walk your lazy ass inside.
